Responsibilities
- Report to the Procurement Manager and oversee the full procurement cycle for the Building Cleaning framework, including business planning, pre‑market engagement, end‑to‑end tendering, contract management, and performance monitoring.
- Manage complexity and demands of the framework, ensuring risk is mitigated, relationships are maintained, and service levels meet members’ expectations.
- Mentor and provide support to Senior Procurement Officers and Procurement Officers, offering a professional procurement service to all members.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver goods and services under Framework Agreements and Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS), ensuring compliance with public sector legislation.
- Identify and develop high‑value framework opportunities, defining contractual requirements and embedding them into the tender and award processes.
- Extensive procurement experience within the public sector, preferably in the education sector.
- Detailed working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and experience with high‑value frameworks.
- Strong organisational skills, positive attitude, and a commitment to excellence in procurement.
- Qualifications or training towards CIPS (or an equivalent recognised qualification) are required.
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- Discretionary annual bonus of up to £3,000.
