Job Description & How to Apply Below

Order-to-Cash (OTC) Interim Project, Manchester. We are looking for a OTC specialist to support a transformation project.

An established national business is embarking on a significant ERP transformation programme and is seeking an experienced Order-to-Cash (OTC) Process Owner to join the project team on a contract basis.

This is a business transformation role, not a BAU operational position. You'll be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process is designed, optimised and successfully transitioned into a new ERP platform as part of a large-scale systems implementation.

Working alongside internal stakeholders, the implementation partner and the wider project team, you'll provide expert process knowledge to support the migration to Net Suite. While the project includes a dedicated Data Lead, this role is focused on process ownership, governance and ensuring the business is ready for implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the business Process Owner for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash lifecycle throughout the ERP implementation.

  • Review, map and optimise current OTC processes, identifying opportunities for standardisation and improvement.

  • Work closely with business users and project stakeholders to capture and validate process requirements.

  • Support the migration from the existing ERP system into Net Suite, ensuring business processes are accurately reflected within the new solution.

  • Collaborate with the implementation partner and internal project team throughout the design and build phases.

  • Partner with the Data Lead to ensure process requirements support successful data migration and validation.

  • Facilitate workshops across Finance, Operations, Customer Services, Commercial and IT teams.

  • Identify process gaps, risks and dependencies, recommending practical solutions.

  • Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business readiness activities.

  • Assist with change management, process documentation and user adoption ahead of go-live.

About You

You'll be an experienced business process specialist with a proven background delivering ERP implementation or transformation programmes.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Extensive experience owning or leading end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes.

  • A strong understanding of the complete OTC lifecycle, including order management, pricing, invoicing, billing, cash allocation, collections and dispute resolution.

  • Previous experience supporting ERP implementation or migration projects.

  • Exposure to Net Suite implementations would be highly advantageous.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience working across multiple functions within complex transformation programmes.

  • Strong process mapping, workshop facilitation and business analysis skills.

  • The ability to influence, challenge and drive best practice across the organisation.

  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.

What's on Offer
  • Opportunity to play a key role in a major ERP transformation programme.

  • High-profile contract with significant business impact.

  • Hybrid working arrangement.

  • Collaborative project environment with cross-functional exposure.

  • Project expected to run for a minimum term of 9 months

Immediate start. Must be Northwest based as the requirement is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days a week in office.
