We are looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused people to join our Front of House Usher team and help us deliver safe, welcoming, and memorable experiences for every audience member.

Working as part of the Venues Operations team and reporting to a Casual Front of House Duty Manager, Front of House Ushers are responsible for supporting the delivery of events across the RNCM’s performance spaces. This is a highly visible customer-facing role, requiring individuals who are confident engaging with visitors, committed to exceptional customer service, and able to maintain a calm and professional approach in busy environments and emergency scenarios.

As a Front of House Usher, your duties will include:

• Welcoming audience members and visitors to the RNCM
• Scanning tickets and directing patrons to their seats
• Providing information and assistance to visitors
• Monitoring audience areas during performances to support audience comfort and safety
• Identifying and reporting potential hazards or concerns within public areas
• Assisting in maintaining the appearance, cleanliness and safe operation of foyers and venue spaces
• Supporting Duty Managers and Security teams in responding to incidents, enquiries and customer concerns
• Undertaking evacuation and emergency response duties when required

Successful candidates must be available to attend a mandatory induction and training session on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
