Core Responsibilities
1. Applies process definition, improvement and design methodologies to identify, analyze and improve business processes to improve quality, reduce costs, increase efficiencies/productivity, increase customer satisfaction, etc. 2. Concatenates process improvement data and uses key metrics to measure outcomes.
3. Supports process improvement initiatives from inception through implementation ensuring deadlines are met. Defines scope and requirements, establishes timeline, and ensures timely completion of deliverables.
4. Develops documentation to support analysis and improvement including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and gap/problem analyses.
5. Develops and manages effective working relationships with internal clients and key stakeholders.
6. Supports the development of training and/or change management materials and activities to support new processes and procedures.
7. Coordinates follow-up meetings for project teams using process improvement tools to ensure work is completed and improvements are maintained. Supports the planning and implementation of quality assurance and compliance processes.
8. Provides assistance for regulated and monitored activities.
9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum of three years related work experience with progressive responsibility required.
Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
Process improvement certification (i.e. McKinsey Lean training, Six Sigma certification) preferred. Ability to obtain certification within 2 year period required.
