Nordex UK have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Operations Intern within our Projects Team.

Contract Type: 12-month Internship starting in August 2027

Location: Didsbury, Manchester

Hours: Our people work a 37-hour week which includes a 3pm finish on Fridays.

Please be aware successful candidates are required to commit to a 12-month, full time placement

What will you be doing?

As a Project Operations Intern in our Projects function, you will support the projects team in planning, co-ordination, tracking and delivery of projects across the Nordex UK and Ireland region.

This is a 12-month internship for a placement student who is looking to gain hands on experience in a busy project operations environment.

  • Supporting the projects team in project planning, scheduling and co-ordinating project activities
  • Tracking project milestones
  • Maintaining documentation and operational reports
  • Co-ordinating meetings, preparing agendas and documenting actions
  • Assisting in monitoring risks, issues and dependencies
  • Preparing project status reports, dashboards and presentations
  • Delivering projects and process improvements
What are we looking for?

You will either be:

  • Studying a Business Management, Project Management or Operations Management related degree and be looking to undertake a placement as part of your degree
  • A recent graduate with a Business Management, Project Management or Operations Management related degree who is looking for some work experience in this role.

Other skills and behaviours required for this role include:

  • Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of Project Management methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • AI knowledge and how it can be used to improve efficiency
  • High level of competency in using MS Office packages
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

Recruitment Process Stage 1

We need to receive your application by Friday 20th November 2026, however please be aware that we may close our application process if we receive an overwhelming response.

Stage 2

We will review each application we receive and will let you know by the end of November 2026 if we will be proceeding with your application.

Stage 3

If your application is successful in reaching stage 3, you will be invited to attend one of our assessment centres. We appreciate Assessment centres may sound scary, but our assessment centres are designed to be fun and to give you an opportunity to show us how amazing you will be as an intern at Nordex.

Our assessment centres will take place in Manchester in December 2026.

Stage 4

Successful candidates will be notified by the beginning of January 2027.

Stage 5

Successful candidates will join our team in August 2027.
