Commercial Operations Manager
Elevate is seeking a highly organized, operational, and detail-oriented professional to serve as Commercial Operations Manager supporting our work with Manchester United and other properties globally. This role will serve as the operational backbone connecting strategic planning with day‑to‑day ticketing execution, focusing on strengthening venue ticketing infrastructure, managing complex inventory allocations, optimizing third‑party sales channels, and building standardized, repeatable workflows for long‑term commercial growth at Old Trafford.
This is a hybrid role, based at Old Trafford in Manchester, England. The role may have limited travel but requires a flexible schedule as working weekends and holidays may be needed from time to time. Previously we indicated that this role could be based in London, however we have recently changed the location to be based at Old Trafford in Manchester.
You’ll Do Ticket Inventory & Database Operations
- Partner with Elevate sales and technology leadership to build, structure, and maintain a centralized, highly structured ticket inventory database
- Implement standardized inventory naming conventions, seating manifest structures, and data governance frameworks across Matchday Hospitality offerings
- Maintain complete accuracy and real-time visibility of available, held, and allocated inventory across all stadium zones and fixture tiers
- Oversee multi‑channel inventory distribution, managing day‑to‑day inventory feeds, allocations, and releases across internal box office channels, secondary marketplaces, OTAs, B2B resellers, and international tour operators
- Serve as the operational point of contact for external channel partners, ensuring seamless delivery of ticket inventory, SLA compliance, and adherence to brand and pricing guidelines
- Monitor channel‑by‑channel sales velocity, fulfillment accuracy, and redemption rates to continuously reallocate underperforming inventory to higher‑converting distribution paths
- Establish clear channel inventory controls and protocols to protect direct‑to‑consumer relationships and premium product integrity
- Document end‑to‑end ticketing workflows, system integration maps, and operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) to establish scalable frameworks to align with Elevate’s growth
- Create standardized operational toolkits, inventory request forms, and onboarding documentation to minimize manual friction during peak‑volume sales windows
