We’re looking for a Commercial Programme Executive to help a growing technology reseller get the most from the incentive and partner schemes it participates in, with a clear eye on long-term governance.
You’ll build deep expertise in a set of allocated vendor partners and their programmes, working alongside senior colleagues to assess which schemes deliver the greatest commercial value and deserve continued focus.
Day to day, you’ll collaborate with the alliances, vendor engagement and sales teams to make sure programmes are delivered smoothly, risks are managed and reporting is accurate. You’ll handle claim submissions and compile the supporting evidence needed to meet each vendor’s requirements, and you’ll advise on which accreditations and specialisations matter most, supporting the business in earning them to open up further programme benefits.
Your focus will be on the programmes of the company’s highest-tier strategic partners.
- Build a solid understanding of each vendor programme’s detail, helping the business decide which schemes to prioritise and which best suit its target customers
- Provide regular performance updates on individual programmes to commercial, enablement and alliances leads and managers
- Guide the sales team in understanding and following each programme’s requirements and processes
- Work within established governance frameworks to track and support interlinked projects effectively
- Own the end-to-end running of programmes, making sure expectations are met both internally and externally
- Check that programme outputs meet the required standards, and report on their impact once delivered
- Allocate and support resources across the various projects within a programme
- Spot and mitigate risks at every stage of the programme lifecycle
- Share regular updates on status, risks and issues with senior management and other key internal and external stakeholders
- Report on programme budgets and offer insight into how financial objectives are being met, so profitability can be assessed
- Help improve processes and efficiency by contributing new ideas and innovations
- Identify gaps in vendor programmes and make recommendations to the alliances team
- A logical, structured thinker who can approach programme qualification and delivery within a technology or sales setting
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to report on programme performance and pinpoint where improvements can be made
- A strategic mindset with a good instinct for assessing risk, allocating resources and weighing up commercial value
- A genuine commitment to continuous improvement, with a sharp eye for spotting gaps and developing creative solutions
- A technology background is beneficial
To secure the top end of the salary range, you’ll have hands‑on vendor programme experience in a technology reseller or channel setting, along with a strong track record in governance, reporting and stakeholder management.
We are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
