We are looking for a Welfare Assistant who has experience working with children in a primary school setting and who is passionate about supporting children. The role will primarily involve one‑to‑one lunchtime support for children with additional needs, playground monitoring, and positive interaction with children.

• Support the wellbeing of children across different age groups during the school day.
• Deliver fun, engaging activities for individuals or small groups on the playground.
• Assist children in receiving their lunchtime meals.
• Monitor children on the playground, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to promote children’s learning and wellbeing.

• Commitment to the school ethos and values.
• Passion for promoting and supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Excellent communication and relational skills with both children and adults.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
