Hi, I’m Louise, the Nursery Manager at The Learning Hive.

Every day at The Learning Hive, we inspire our children to be inquisitive, imaginative, and confident learners. Through our carefully designed environments and nurturing approach, our children quickly develop a genuine love of learning and a curious mind.

Our spacious, converted Victorian home offers a warm and inspiring setting—where every room is filled with rich learning opportunities. Outdoors, our garden spaces are designed for adventure, using natural resources that spark imagination and deepen our children’s connection with the world around them.

Our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests—ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

About the role: As a Casual Nursery Practitioner you will be a key part of keeping our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily

• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions

• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments

About you:

• A true love for child development and care

• Able and willing to work in a team

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents

• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Must haves:

• Early Years qualification at Level 2/3 is desirable

• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
