Manchester Project Value: £30m The Opportunity We are currently working with a NW Contractor who are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £30 million, 12-storey residential apartment scheme in Manchester. This is a high-profile urban development requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness, and proven experience in multi-storey residential construction. The successful candidate will play a key role from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project Managing programme, budget, risk, and quality throughout the project lifecycle Coordinating design development with consultants and stakeholders Leading site teams and managing contractor and subcontractor performance Ensuring compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and planning conditions Managing client relationships and reporting progress to senior stakeholders Overseeing procurement strategy and value engineering exercises Driving project milestones through to practical completion and handover Candidate Requirements Proven experience delivering multi-storey residential developments (£20m preferred) Strong background as a Project Manager within construction or property development Experience working on urban, high-density schemes Excellent knowledge of construction methodology, programming, and commercial controls Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent) Professional accreditation (MCIOB, MAPM, RICS or similar) desirable Whats on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to deliver a flagship Manchester residential scheme Long-term pipeline of projects with a growing developer/contractor Supportive and professional working environment
