Overview
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Rail Framework - Northwest. Rate: £400 per day. Status:
Outside IR35.
Location:
Site based – Northwest. Working pattern: 5 days per week on site.
This is an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor position working on a live rail framework in the Northwest, initially with a subcontractor, with clear exposure and progression working alongside and into the main contractor team. It's a hands-on delivery role, suited to someone who wants proper site experience rather than sitting behind a desk.
The work- Supporting subcontract commercial management on live rail works
- Assisting with applications for payment and assessments
- Change management and variations
- Cost tracking, forecasting and CVR input
- Commercial reporting and record keeping
- Working with NEC and Network Rail contract requirements
- Liaising with the main contractor commercial team
- Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor
- Rail experience essential
- NEC and Network Rail contract background
- Comfortable working site based, 5 days per week
- Experience working contractor or subcontractor side
- Someone keen to develop, learn, and progress within rail
- Outside IR35 at a strong day rate
- Proper rail framework work, not a short-term patch job
- Exposure to both subcontractor and main contractor environments
- Long-term opportunity for the right person
