Elite Construction Talent are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established retail and commercial fit‑out contractor for an experienced Site Manager to support a major national retail refurbishment and rollout programme.

The role will initially be based on a flagship project in Manchester before progressing onto projects throughout the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands‑on Site Manager who enjoys delivering fast‑paced retail projects and isn't afraid to get involved when required.

Working across a nationally recognised retail estate, you will be responsible for managing refurbishment and fit‑out projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.

• Manage retail refurbishment and fit‑out projects from site set‑up through to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and health & safety inspections.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, materials and plant requirements.
• Liaise with clients, contracts managers and project teams.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Resolve site issues and support project delivery where required.

• Previous experience delivering retail fit‑out or refurbishment projects.
• Strong site management experience within fast‑track environments.
• Practical construction background with a willingness to be hands‑on when required.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Comfortable travelling nationally following completion of the initial Manchester project.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification.

• £50,000 - £58,000 per annum DOE.
