This main contractor delivers Design & Build contracts for a host of clients nationally and is primarily focused on envelope refurbishments. They are known for quality delivery, strong client relationships and professional leadership which is driving the business in the right direction.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing smaller schemes in a stand‑alone position or larger schemes as part of a project team under a Project Manager, overseeing the build from pre‑start through to client hand‑over. Your role will include:

• Work in a stand‑alone capacity or as part of a project team under a Project Manager
• Break down rolling construction programmes
• Chair daily activity briefings
• Manage supply and fit subcontractors
• Ensure project documentation is set up and recorded correctly (site diaries, H&S files)
• Drive Health & Safety implementation and adherence
• Produce weekly and monthly project reports
• Chair weekly contractor meetings
• Mentor Assistant and Trainee Managers
• Order non‑supply & fit items
• Quality control and QA using Fieldview

• Construction professional with experience at Tier 1 or 2 main contractor
• Proven track record with a Main/Principal Contractor
• Experience managing schemes independently (advantage)
• Sound knowledge of design and build contracts
• Working knowledge of Asta Power Projects (advantage)
• Up‑to‑date CITB qualifications and First Aid at Work
