Assistant Quantity Surveyor Manchester £30,000 - £40,000  Comprehensive Package An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a successful and growing residential developer delivering high-quality new build housing schemes across the North West. This role is ideal for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to further develop their career within a supportive commercial team, gaining exposure to all aspects of the surveying function while working on exciting residential developments.

The Role Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will assist with the commercial management of multiple new build housing developments from inception through to completion. Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with cost reporting and budget management Supporting subcontractor procurement and tender analysis Processing subcontractor payments and valuations Assisting with variations and change control Monitoring project costs and forecasting expenditure Preparing reports and commercial documentation Supporting the agreement of final accounts Working closely with site, technical and commercial teams What We're Looking For Essential Requirements Experience working within a Quantity Surveying or Assistant Quantity Surveying role Exposure to the construction industry, ideally within residential development Strong numerical and analytical skills Good understanding of construction processes and commercial principles Excellent communication and organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Full UK driving licence
