The Organisation

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed‑use developments while contributing to projects that make a tangible difference to communities across the region.

The Role

As Fund and Development Monitor, you will provide technical due diligence on new investment opportunities and oversee construction progress across an active development portfolio. Working closely with Investment Directors, Transaction Managers, developers and professional advisers, you will help ensure investment decisions are informed, risks are managed and projects are delivered successfully.

Responsibilities
  • Assess development appraisals, construction budgets and programmes.
  • Review technical documentation, contracts, cost plans and surveys.
  • Advise on technical and commercial risks.
  • Manage relationships with monitoring surveyors and review project reports.
  • Monitor construction progress and approve drawdown requests.
  • Undertake site visits and report on cost, programme and quality performance.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of construction, cost management and contract administration.
  • Experience reviewing development appraisals, cost plans and construction programmes.
  • Working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess risk and provide clear recommendations.
  • Chartered professionals from monitoring surveying, quantity surveying, project management, development management or related real estate backgrounds are preferred.
