Quantity Surveyor in Salford

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK main contractor delivering high‑quality residential and commercial developments. This role will be based on a flagship project in Manchester, contributing to the successful delivery of a large‑scale scheme.

• Manage all cost‑related aspects of the project from inception to completion.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor accounts.
• Provide accurate reporting to support project delivery and profitability.
• Manage valuations and variations.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within residential housing/apartment schemes.
• JCT experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and cost control.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
