Position: Fit Out Estimator
Fit-Out Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Interiors) Manchester (M30) Full-Time | Permanent £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) UK work authorisation required Whats on Offer Performance-related bonus rewarding your impact Flexible start and finish times to support work-life balance 22 days holiday  bank holidays Christmas shutdown period On-site parking Life & accident cover The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with a proven background in commercial fit-out to take ownership of both pre-construction estimating and live project commercial management .

This is not an entry-level role - we are specifically seeking someone confident running projects commercially from tender stage through to final account .

Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate, competitive tenders for interior fit-out projects Interpret drawings, specs, and BOQs with minimal supervision Source and analyse subcontractor & supplier packages Manage project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting Handle valuations, variations, and change control Take projects through to final account agreement Support procurement and commercial negotiations Liaise with clients, PMs, designers, and external QS teams What We Need (Essential) 3 years experience in a QS / Estimator role within fit-out or interiors Demonstrable experience managing projects commercially end-to-end Strong understanding of fit-out packages (joinery, M&E, finishes, etc.)

Ability to price from drawings without heavy hand-holding

Experience with variations, valuations, and final accounts High level of commercial awareness and attention to detail Strong Excel and estimating software skills Desirable Relevant qualification (QS, Construction Management, or similar) Experience working with retail or fast-track fit-out programmes What This Role Is NOT Not a trainee or assistant position Not purely estimating or purely QS - this is a dual-role position Not suitable for candidates without fit-out/interiors experience About Us PBH Shopfitters Ltd is an established commercial fit-out specialist delivering high-quality projects across the retail, leisure, and commercial sectors nationwide.
