Position

Geotechnical Site Engineer – Manchester

• £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
• 24 days annual leave, increasing by one day per completed year of service (up to 29 days)

• Supervise and deliver a variety of ground investigation projects across the UK
• Organise and oversee site investigation works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification
• Liaise with drilling crews, subcontractors and project teams on site
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures
• Manage site logistics, equipment and daily operations
• Maintain effective communication between site teams and the office
• Build and maintain positive client relationships on site
• Support project delivery to ensure quality standards and programme requirements are achieved

• Minimum 2-3 years experience within a ground investigation contractor
• Previous experience supervising or delivering site investigation works
• Good understanding of site investigation techniques including boreholes, trial pits and in-situ testing
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures on site
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
• Earth Science, Geology, Engineering Geology or Geotechnical-related qualification desirable
