As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll estimate costs, benchmark against industry standards, and collaborate with project teams to deliver projects on budget. Your expertise in cost management including value engineering and claims assessment will help ensure projects are delivered within budget and support Siemens Energy’s mission for sustainable, innovative infrastructure.

- Lead cost management for major construction projects from initial estimation through final delivery, ensuring full compliance with Siemens Energy standards.
- Develop project cost estimates, support budgeting activities, and manage overall project costs to remain within approved budgets.
- Evaluate cost impacts related to project risks and support change management, including claims preparation and review.
- Prepare, maintain, and present accurate project budget reports, including committed spend, forecasts, and up-to-date cost data.
- Partner with the Digital Acceleration team to implement and enhance digital tools that improve cost management and reporting efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement by sharing best practices, supporting sustainability initiatives, contributing to innovation, and providing cost management expertise across the Real Estate (RE) community.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction engineering, civil engineering, MEP engineering, architecture, or a related field; MRICS membership or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
- 3–5 years of hands‑on Quantity Surveyor or construction cost management experience for industrial or manufacturing facilities; exposure to international or multicultural project environments is a plus.
- Strong expertise in feasibility and pre‑tender estimating, cost planning and reporting, tender management, value engineering, benchmarking, and claims management.
- Proven ability to implement and improve high‑quality cost management processes, including support for budgeting, financial reporting, resource allocation, and the use of digital cost‑management tools and reporting systems.
