Salary: £40,000+ (DOE)

Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected property consultancy to recruit a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering high-profile commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects, alongside a full range of professional building surveying services. Projects can reach values of up to £20m, offering strong exposure to complex and high-value schemes.

The role is ideal for a surveyor looking for a client-facing position with genuine responsibility, clear progression, and a collaborative working environment, without the pressure of personal fee targets.

• Project manage and administer contracts for commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects
• Support schemes through feasibility, design coordination, procurement, and delivery stages
• Deliver professional services including acquisition surveys, schedules of condition, and project monitoring
• Prepare and negotiate dilapidations on behalf of landlords and tenants
• Investigate building defects and provide technical advice
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to business development and wider team initiatives

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• Experience with in a commercial building consultancy environment
• Knowledge of contract administration, dilapidations, and JCT contracts
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• MRICS qualified or currently working towards chartership (preferred)
