We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Manager to support major infrastructure, energy, utilities and power-related programmes from either the Manchester or Warrington office.
This role would suit someone with strong client-side or consultancy-side commercial experience who wants exposure to nationally significant infrastructure programmes, while retaining a good hybrid working pattern.
The roleYou will support the commercial management of major infrastructure and energy projects, working closely with clients, delivery teams and supply chain partners.
Responsibilities will include- Managing cost plans, forecasts, budgets and commercial reports
- Supporting NEC contract management, including compensation events, early warnings and change control
- Reviewing contractor applications, variations and commercial submissions
- Providing commercial advice to clients across live project delivery
- Supporting procurement, tender analysis and contract administration
- Managing cost risk, value, change and commercial performance
- Working closely with project teams, consultants, contractors and client stakeholders
What we are looking for
We are looking for candidates with- Strong client-side or consultancy-side commercial experience
- Experience as a Cost Manager, Senior Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Infrastructure, utilities, energy, power, data centre or major built environment project experience
- Strong cost reporting, forecasting and change management capability
- Confidence working directly with clients and project stakeholders
- Good commercial judgement and the ability to operate independently
This is a strong opportunity to join a growing consultancy with a solid pipeline of work across major UK infrastructure and energy programmes.

The position is hybrid, with 2 days per week in either Manchester or Warrington and 3 days from home.
