Trainee Surveyor £28,500 - £29,500 + Company Vehicle + Private Healthcare + Full Training Manchester

Construo Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading nationwide surveying company to recruit a Trainee Surveyor covering the Manchester area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career in Building Surveying. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for candidates with a construction background or an interest in property, surveying and building pathology.

As a Trainee Surveyor, you will undertake a variety of residential surveying duties across the mortgage, insurance and valuation sectors while developing your technical knowledge through structured training and hands‑on experience.

• Carrying out residential valuation and condition surveys
• Inspecting properties and identifying building defects
• Producing detailed survey reports and reinstatement estimates
• Measuring properties and preparing dimension plans for repair works
• Producing both digital and hand-drawn site plans
• Using Android‑based surveying software to record site information
• Travelling throughout your designated region to attend property inspections
• Maintaining accurate records and delivering reports to a high standard
• Managing your daily schedule efficiently while working independently

• Full UK manual driving licence with a minimum of two years' driving experience
• Based within the Manchester postcode area
• Good understanding of construction methods and building pathology desirable
• Construction or property industry experience advantageous
• Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently
• Confident using mobile technology and digital survey systems

• Salary between £28,500 and £29,500 depending on experience
