In this role, the successful Pre-Construction Manager or similar will be responsible for the oversight of projects from initial conception through to handover, covering all commercial and estimating aspects. In addition, you will also be responsible for reviewing and producing both tender documentation and quotes in line with design criteria, ensuring solutions meets client requirements, alongside attend site to survey both existing and proposed installations.

On top of this, you will be responsible for both bid submissions and negotiations, as well as creating a presentation document including not only designs and specifications, but also equipment schedules, materials, labour hours, and summary of costs alike. Finally, you will be responsible for customer, client, supplier, subcontractor and interdepartmental liaison alike, to ensure a smooth acquisition process and eventual handover to the project team.

The ideal Pre-Construction Manager or similar will have a background within the Building Services/MEP/Facilities Management/Construction industry or a related field, with prior experience in a Pre-Construction Manager position or a similar role. In addition, you will also have a strong working knowledge of HVAC systems. On top of this, you will be responsible for attending client sites to survey existing and proposed instillations, with the ability to address client queries, tenders, quotations and bids alike… Finally, you will have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, with the ability to work well both as part of a team and autonomously, as well as a full, valid UK driver's license.

The Person :

Have a background within the Building Services/MEP/Facilities Management/Construction or a related field
Previous working experience in a Pre-Construction Manager position or a similar role
Strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills
