Quantity Surveyor
Media City
We are working closely with a well-established construction consultancy in Media City, Manchester, looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team and work across a range of projects throughout the North West.
You'll be joining a close-knit and collaborative consultancy of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, with the opportunity to gain experience across a wide variety of public sector schemes including schools, libraries, heritage buildings and community projects.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor
This is a varied role where you'll support projects across both pre and post-contract duties, working alongside experienced Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers.
You'll have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own areas of work whilst receiving plenty of support and development from senior members of the team.
Typical projects range in value, and include:
School refurbishments and extensions
Heritage and local authority schemes
Public realm projects
Community focused developments
What We're Looking For
Around 2 - 4 years' experience in Quantity Surveying
Consultancy experience is preferred
Experience across pre and/or post-contract quantity surveying
Good understanding of construction and commercial processes
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a project team
Confidence to communicate with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
A genuine interest in developing your career within consultancy
Working towards chartership (MRICS) is not essential, with support provided in-house

Salary negotiable depending on experience and level

Hybrid working - typically 3 days office/site, with flexibility around working hours
