I have partnered with an independent consultancy who are actively seeking a Town Planner. This consultancy are playing a big part in the regeneration of Manchester and it's safe to say they have some of the most exciting projects in the city to be part of. It's a non-corporate environment, with approachable and hands on leaders to learn from who have invaluable experience and exposure within the industry.
They're a social team who are not only frequently attending industry awards evenings but often nominated and winning.
- Lead on smaller planning applications and assist senior team members on larger projects
- Assist with the drafting of planning statements and supporting planning documents
- Conduct desktop research and site appraisals to assess development opportunities
- Engage with clients early in your career, gaining exposure to meetings and project discussions
- Demonstrate strong report writing skills and the ability to produce high-quality planning documentation
- Be a confident communicator and a proactive team player
- Show initiative and a willingness to get involved and contribute from the outset
- The salary is competitive and dependent on your experience.
