We offer a combination of creative, production, strategy services and complete end‑to‑end project management and account management which our clients rely on to deliver exceptional outputs.
RoleWe are looking for a skilled photographer with 3–4 years of commercial experience and a versatile portfolio across still life, fashion and e‑commerce photography to join our team at THG Studios. You’ll play a key role in our fast‑paced studio environment, owning shoots from brief to delivery and producing high‑quality, on‑brand imagery across a diverse range of products and models. Your work will drive visual storytelling for our clients and help evolve our creative output.
This role is based on site at our Manchester Studio, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm.
- Plan, light and execute high‑quality still life, fashion and e‑commerce photography across a range of setups, including tabletop, flat‑lay, mannequin, on‑model and lifestyle.
- Take ownership of shoots from brief through to delivery, ensuring assets meet creative, technical and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to interpret and develop briefs, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Create and adapt lighting setups to suit varied products, textures, finishes, skin tones and fabrics, maintaining consistent quality across large volumes.
- Work with art directors, stylists, producers and retouchers to deliver cohesive visual stories and ensure accurate product representation.
- Maintain an organised workflow in a high‑volume studio environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Uphold and help refine studio standards, processes and best practices, supporting junior team members where appropriate.
- Ensure all assets are delivered on time, correctly named, backed up and aligned with technical specifications.
- Stay informed on industry trends, techniques and equipment, and bring innovative approaches to still and motion content where relevant.
- 3–4 years of professional photography experience, ideally within e‑commerce, fashion, still life or commercial studio environments.
- A versatile, well‑curated portfolio demonstrating strong lighting and composition skills across multiple categories.
- Proven experience delivering high‑volume e‑commerce imagery to consistent standards, with an eye for brand nuance and detail.
- Proficiency with Capture One, Canon camera systems and professional studio lighting (Broncolor and Profoto).
- Solid understanding of colour management, file formats and basic post‑production workflows; experience collaborating closely with retouching teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to maintain quality under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, confident working with creatives, producers, stylists and clients on set.
- Proactive, solution‑focused mindset with the ability to interpret and challenge briefs constructively where needed.
- Passion for photography, visual storytelling and the e‑commerce/brand content space.
- Working knowledge of Creative Force Kelvin App would be an advantage.
