We are a crowdfunded company with a dedicated and enthusiastic community of backers who are helping us create the “Best Damn Space Sim Ever”. Cloud Imperium is looking for a marketing video editor to join our Marketing Team. You’ll create promotional content for social media platforms, including trailers, gameplay highlights, and community‑focused videos. The role requires speed, creativity, and a strong sense of what resonates with online audiences.

Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting‑edge video games that defy expectations. We’re currently developing Star Citizen, a record‑breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single‑player adventure set in the same universe.

• Collaborate with brand teams and creative leads to produce content tailored for Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube Shorts, and X.
• Work closely with the creative director, writers, gameplay capture artists, and producers to ensure cohesive storytelling that elevates overall production value.
• Break down and implement creative notes from stakeholder teams.
• Develop and maintain effective strategies to support creative needs from cross‑functional teams.

• Significant industry experience as a video editor in Advertising, Entertainment, or Gaming, with a portfolio that showcases excellence in dynamic, creative storytelling.
• Exceptional proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and experience with After Effects and motion graphics.
• Demonstrated awareness of industry trends and technological advancements in video editing, contributing to the implementation of best practices for quality standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
