About the Role

The Gate is looking for a new breed of Producer — someone who thrives in today’s fast-moving world of film production. From a hands-on, tech-enabled studio shoot on a tight budget to a large-scale, high-profile location production, you’ll bring the same energy, organisation, and hunger to make great work happen.

This is a role for a Producer who’s as strong with people as they are with numbers — balancing creativity and commerce, deal-making and diplomacy, ideas and execution.

• Lead film productions of all scales — from lean social shoots to big, complex campaigns
• Lead Client communications
• Keep projects on budget and on schedule, without ever losing sight of the creative ambition
• Build and manage internal making team and freelancers, leveraging a deep knowledge of the UK production community
• Work closely with our makers, directors, creatives, and clients to deliver high-quality content
• Negotiate deals, solve problems, and keep everyone aligned and motivated
• Stay agile, adapting to new technologies and changing production models

• Proven experience as a Producer in the advertising/content/film production world
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to run multiple projects smoothly
• Financial acumen: budget management, negotiation, and resource planning
• Excellent communication and people skills — trusted by clients, respected by crews
• Energy, passion, and a love of producing brilliant film work across every scale
