Studio Producer

You will need:

• A wealth of experience in scripting and gallery producing
• A background in consumer and topical programming
• Confidence in shaping, scripting and producing a live show and having strong editorial judgement
• A solid understanding of the audience and how Morning Live best serves it
• Strong journalistic instincts and judgement, you’ll know exactly what the nation is talking about and drive content which taps into the heart of that
• A thorough knowledge of BBC Editorial Policy, legal and compliance guidelines

You’ll be working in quick turn around and deadline focused environment. You’ll be based in the North West of England.

Responsibilities include:

• Outputting 75 minutes of live TV every week from our Manchester city centre studio
• Reporting to the Studio Series Editor and helping to lead the delivery of compelling, ambitious and distinctive content
• Working from the Manchester office at least 2 days a week
• Starting 24th August 2026 – 26th March 2027
