The Content Production House is a dynamic, fast-paced in-house design department responsible for creating high-quality, engaging video content for up to 18 markets and 23 languages across Europe. The post holder will be a highly organised, detail-oriented, and technically minded Junior Video Editor.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our post-production pipeline. You will be responsible for taking translated and QA-approved content, handed over by the Translation Coordinator, and technically integrating it into master video files for delivery across all European markets. This role is a perfect blend of hands‑on video editing, meticulous digital asset management, and localisation execution.

Note: This role focuses on the technical updating and delivery of localised video and digital content once translation and market feedback has been coordinated; it does not involve coordinating markets or managing translation timelines/vendors, which sit with the Translation Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities Localisation Content Integration
  • Incorporate Translations:
Integrate translated, QA-approved text (received from the Translation Coordinator, translation agencies, or automated software tools) into master video files. This includes creating and formatting subtitles, on-screen text overlays, and lower thirds.
  • Text Adaptation & Formatting:
Adjust text layouts, font sizes, and timings to accommodate varying language lengths (e.g., handling German text expansion compared to English) while maintaining strict brand and design guidelines.
  • Audio & Voiceover Syncing:
Import, clean, and sync localised voiceover (VO) tracks and audio elements for different regional outputs.
  • Technical Quality Control (QC):
Meticulously review localised videos to confirm on-screen text matches the approved translation sheets provided by the Translation Coordinator, ensure there are no formatting errors, and confirm audio/video sync is flawless across all 23 markets.

Note: Linguistic accuracy and tone are QA'd by the Translation Coordinator prior to handover; this role QC is technical/visual – sync, formatting, rendering, and correct file application.

Post-Production & Editing Support
  • Formatting Adaptations:
Create version cutdowns and adapt master videos into various aspect ratios for social media and digital channels (e.g., 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5).
  • Feedback & Revisions:
Apply minor creative and technical edits based on feedback routed via the Translation Coordinator and/or Design Production Manager. This role does not liaise directly with regional markets to gather or negotiate feedback.
  • Rendering & Exporting:
Manage the rendering and exporting queue using Adobe Media Encoder, ensuring correct technical specifications, codecs, and naming conventions are applied for each market.
Digital Asset Management & File Organisation
  • Project Preparation:
Ingest, transcode, and organise raw footage and assets into standardised project templates.
  • Folder & Server Management:
Maintain a flawless, logical folder structure on shared storage networks or cloud platforms.
  • Project Archiving:
Manage the archiving and backup process of completed projects, ensuring all raw media, assets, and project files are safely stored and easy to retrieve for future updates.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in video editing,…
