Customer Service Advisor

Pay-in-Three Fintech | Manchester City Centre | £28,000–£32,000 | Full-Time, Office-Based

We’re working with a fast-growing fintech in the payments space as they prepare to launch and scale their pay-in-three platform. They’re now looking to hire a Customer Service Advisor to join their Manchester City Centre team.

This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in building a customer-focused function within a regulated fintech environment.

The Role

This is a phone-based position where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, supporting them with queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally.

You’ll be responsible for:

* Handling inbound customer calls and resolving queries

* Managing complaints and sensitive customer situations with empathy and professionalism

* Ensuring all customer interactions are compliant with GDPR and FCA regulations

* Escalating issues where appropriate and working closely with internal teams

* Contributing to the development of processes as the customer service function grows

About You

* Proven experience in a phone-based customer service role

* Confident handling and resolving customer issues

* Experience working within a regulated environment

* Strong understanding of GDPR and FCA requirements

* Excellent communication skills and professional phone etiquette

* Calm, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting
