Job Overview

Test Centre Associate – Manchester.

Pay: £13.60 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Invigilate and supervise exams, ensuring procedures and guidelines are adhered to.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Check candidate  and book them into the system.
  • Maintain the integrity and security of tests.
  • Explain the test process to candidates and support with other queries.
  • Review tests and test centre schedule.
  • Perform daily test centre opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure the test centre meets individual candidate needs in line with the Equality Act and diversity & inclusion approach.
  • Handle and report incidents that could impact candidate testing.
Work Schedule

Flexible working pattern (part‑time or occasional shifts). Options:

  • Morning: 8:30am – 1/2pm
  • Afternoon: 12:30pm – 5:30/6:30pm
  • Full day: 8:30am – 5:30/6:30pm
  • Evening: 4:30pm – 8:30pm/9:30pm
  • Afternoon & evening: 12pm – 8:30pm/9:30pm

The Centre operates six days a week, Monday to Saturday. Candidates must be fully flexible, cover evenings and Saturdays, and provide cover where needed.

Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence (driving not required at all locations).
  • Significant experience providing high‑quality customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle competing tasks.
  • Experience working with diverse customer groups.
  • Excellent judgement and decision‑making skills.
  • Flexibility with working hours and days, including evenings and Saturday.
  • Calmness and professional manner when dealing with confrontational candidates.
