Job Description

An exciting opportunity to work within a brand new landmark Build to Rent (BTR) development in Manchester. We're seeking a Day Resident Services Agent to join the on‑site team and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional resident experience. Reporting to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you'll be at the heart of the community — ensuring every resident and visitor receives a warm welcome and a seamless service from day one.

Location:

Manchester

Salary: £28,000 per annum + Bonus

Contract:

Permanent, Full-time, On-site

Hours:

4 days on, 4 days off - 7am to 7pm

  • Deliver a professional, friendly, and welcoming service to all residents and visitors.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and contractors to create a positive, community‑led environment.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day front‑of‑house operations, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and service.
  • Support residents with move‑ins, apartment inductions, and everyday queries.
  • Log and manage resident requests, maintenance issues, deliveries, and visitor access.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assist in maintaining health, safety, and security standards.
  • Work collaboratively with management to enhance resident satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.
About You
  • Previous experience in residential, hospitality, or customer‑facing environments (e.g. Build to Rent, Purpose Built Student Accommodation, hotels, front of house, concierge, or property management) will be highly regarded.
  • Has a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building meaningful relationships.
  • Communicates clearly, confidently, and professionally at all times.
  • Is proactive, organised, and able to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
  • Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Can think on their feet, solve problems quickly, and act with initiative.
  • Has good computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and sound knowledge of health and safety principles.
