Customer Service Rep, Call Center / Support
As a Customer Support Officer, you'll be part of TfGM's Customer Contact Centre and will act as a first point of contact for customers and stakeholders across Greater Manchester. You'll handle a wide variety of enquiries by phone and in writing, including issuing travel passes, making Local Link journey reservations, supporting contactless payments queries, providing journey planning advice, and responding to Bee Network related enquiries.
No two days are ever the same you'll be right at the heart of how people experience transport across Greater Manchester.
Do you have strong customer service skills, great attention to detail, and a desire to progress your career? We're building a talent pool of Customer Support Officers as we anticipate a range of permanent and fixed term opportunities becoming available.
Required skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different customers
- Experience working in a customer contact centre, call centre or similar customer-focused environment
- Confidence using multiple systems at the same time, including Microsoft Office
- A positive, collaborative approach as a strong team player, alongside the ability to work effectively on your own
- A willingness to learn, develop and grow in your role
- The ability to work flexibly on a rota system between 7am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 8pm at weekends for which you will receive 12.5% shift allowance.
- An interest in, or knowledge of, public transport and the Bee Network would be desirable but not essential.

The salary for this role ranges from £29,836 to £31,762 per annum plus 12.5% shift allowance for working shifts.
