Hours:
37.5 hours per week Salary: £25,000 - £33,000 DOE About the Role Reed Recruitment is partnering with a leading medical device organisation to recruit a Customer Service & Order Management Coordinator . This varied role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, processing orders from receipt to delivery, and supporting operational activities across the business. Working closely with customers, sales teams, warehouse personnel, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for customers and sales teams. Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally. Process customer orders, loan sets, and consignment requests through to dispatch. Manage orders using the ERP system. Monitor back orders, quotations, pricing queries, and deliveries. Create and maintain accurate customer records. Issue invoices following dispatch. Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently.
Manage customer documentation and filing systems. Produce reports using customer and operational data. Support warehouse and dispatch functions when required. Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), CAPA processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide support across departments and cover for colleagues during absences. Undertake additional duties as required. Skills & Experience Essential
Experience with in the medical device industry , including sterile and non-sterile implantable devices. Strong customer service and order management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and administrative abilities. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills and professional telephone manner. Experience contributing to process improvement initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Desirable Previous experience within a professional office environment. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. A-Level qualifications or equivalent. Systems Knowledge
Experience with the following would be advantageous:
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Power BI ERP systems (Cin7 experience beneficial) Key Competencies Decision Making:
