Concierge – Ad-Hoc Cover Job Type: Ad-Hoc / Temporary Cover

As required (12 hour shifts) We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Concierge to provide ad-hoc cover at a residential development in Reading. You will be responsible for delivering a welcoming front-of-house service, assisting residents and visitors, managing day-to-day enquiries and supporting the smooth running of the development.

Key Responsibilities Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service. Greet and assist residents, visitors and contractors. Handle telephone calls, emails and general enquiries. Respond to customer queries and concerns professionally, escalating when required. Manage keys, parcels and on-site assets securely and accurately. Support contractors and building access arrangements. Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems. Report maintenance, security, health & safety or compliance issues.

Support general property and facilities management duties as required. Maintain a professional and presentable reception area. Work flexibly and provide additional support when required. Essential Requirements Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional, friendly and approachable manner. Basic IT skills. Strong attention to detail and organisation. Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements. Ability to travel to the Reading location.

Desirable Previous Concierge, Reception, Front of House or Customer Service experience. Residential, property or corporate experience. Experience using property management systems. First Aid or Fire Marshal training. Ideal Candidate: A confident, reliable and professional individual who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service.
