We7re looking for a qualified, GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join the team at our Manchester clinic. You7ll work chairside alongside our dentists and specialists, keeping treatments running smoothly and making sure every patient feels genuinely looked after from the moment they sit down.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of the practice. If you take real pride in patient care, love a calm and well-run surgery, and want to keep growing in a modern, supportive team, you7ll fit right in .
Key Responsibilities- Assisting dentists and clinicians chairside throughout a full range of treatments
- Preparing the surgery and setting up instruments and materials ahead of each patient
- Keeping patients comfortable, informed and reassured, especially anyone who7s a little nervous
- Maintaining the highest standards of decontamination, sterilisation and infection prevention & control
- Handling accurate charting, clinical notes, and patient records
- Managing stock, ordering, and day-to-day surgery housekeeping
- Supporting the wider clinic team to keep the day running on time and stress-free
- GDC registration as a Dental Nurse (essential)
- NEBDN National Diploma in Dental Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification
- A warm, reassuring manner and excellent communication with patients and colleagues
- Sound knowledge of decontamination and infection-control protocols
- Great attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine team-player attitude
- Right to work in Ireland or the UK
- Experience with implant, sedation, orthodontic or other specialist treatments
- Post-registration qualifications (e.g. radiography, impression-taking, oral health education)
- Familiarity with digital dentistry and practice-management software
- Previous experience in a busy multi-surgery or private practice
