My client is a multidisciplinary design studio delivering thoughtfully crafted interiors, branding and graphic design across hospitality, commercial and lifestyle sectors. Known for a refined, design‑led approach, the studio creates highly considered environments and experiences, combining creativity with strong strategic thinking and technical delivery.
The studio is looking to appoint an experienced Associate/ Senior Technical Designer to play a key role in leading the technical delivery of projects across a growing portfolio.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Interior Architecture or Architecture who enjoys overseeing projects from design development through to construction. The successful candidate will bring a high level of technical expertise, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards while supporting and mentoring the wider team.
ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the design leadership team, you will manage technical project delivery, produce and review detailed drawing packages, and ensure compliance with current building regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications- Significant experience in Interior Architecture, Architecture or Technical Design roles.
- Previous experience operating at Senior or Associate level within a design‑led studio environment.
- Strong technical tender package and construction documentation experience.
- Proven ability to produce and review detailed technical drawing packages and construction information.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK Building Regulations and statutory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of technical detailing, material specifications and construction methodologies.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and wider project teams throughout delivery stages.
- Ability to oversee projects from technical design through to completion on site.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level team members.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and coordination abilities.
- Commercial awareness and confidence managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Enscape.
