OverviewOur client, a multidisciplinary consultancy with a well‑established landscape team, is looking to appoint an Associate Director Landscape Architect to support the continued growth of its Manchester studio. This senior position operates within a collaborative environment, working across a wide variety of projects throughout the UK. The role suits someone who enjoys balancing project leadership, client engagement, and team development, while remaining involved in the creative and technical side of landscape architecture.
Responsibilities- Lead landscape architecture and landscape planning projects across multiple sectors
- Manage project programmes, resources, and client relationships
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Lead meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
- Support business development activity and help secure new work
- Contribute to project strategy, technical delivery, and quality assurance
- Chartered landscape architect experience at senior or associate level
- Strong background leading projects within the UK market
- Experience across planning, design and delivery stages
- Confidence working within multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong communication and client management skills
- Experience with industry standard design and technical software
