Our client, a well‑established multi‑disciplinary consultancy with offices across the UK, are currently seeking an Architectural Technologist to join their growing Manchester studio. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected practice delivering an impressive portfolio of projects across the Education, High‑rise residential, Healthcare, Commercial, Heritage and Regeneration sectors. The Manchester office plays a key role in delivering a wide variety of new‑build, refurbishment, retrofit and large‑scale regeneration schemes for local authorities, housing associations, education providers, commercial clients and public sector organisations.
Current work includes high‑rise residential remediation and refurbishment projects, schools and university buildings, healthcare facilities, commercial developments, heritage refurbishments and major residential regeneration schemes, with project values typically ranging from £5million to £20million.
Due to a continued increase in workload, they are open to considering Architectural Technologists at all levels. Whether you're looking to build your technical experience or are an established Senior Architectural Technologist seeking greater responsibility, you'll be given the opportunity to work across all RIBA Stages within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that actively supports career progression, professional development and long‑term growth.

Position Overview
- Work on projects across all RIBA Stages, from concept design through to completion
- Produce detailed technical drawings and construction packages using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, Consultants and Contractors throughout project delivery
- Attend client, design team and site meetings
- Assist with the technical delivery of projects across the education, residential, commercial and mixed‑use sectors
- Resolve technical and construction‑related issues throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure projects comply with current UK Building Regulations and relevant legislation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
- Support and mentor junior members of the team where appropriate
- Opportunity to lead projects and manage project teams depending on experience
Position Requirements
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
- Strong technical detailing ability with a sound understanding of UK Building Regulations
- Good knowledge of Revit
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience across either education, residential, commercial or mixed‑use projects would be advantageous
- Live within a commutable distance of Manchester
