Position: Experienced Landscape Planner For Respected Studio

We are working with a well-know and respected architecture studio looking for a landscape designer to join their team. This role is perfect for someone wanting more influence over their work and chasing progression.

This long-established independent landscape practice has built a strong reputation across the UK for delivering thoughtful design-led solutions to complex planning challenges. The studio operates across a broad mix of sectors from major infrastructure and energy schemes to sensitive developments in protected landscapes. The Role

You will join a growing landscape planning team at a key moment of expansion with the opportunity to shape both projects and the wider direction of the discipline within the studio. You will play a central role across a varied portfolio working closely with colleagues and clients while developing your own leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to landscape planning projects across a wide range of scales and sectors
  • Prepare landscape and townscape character assessments LVIA and capacity and sensitivity studies
  • Develop mitigation strategies and enhancement proposals for planning submissions
  • Manage client relationships and support project delivery from inception to completion
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development

Requirements

  • You are a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute
  • You have 5 to 10 plus years of professional experience in landscape planning
  • You have strong working knowledge of the UK planning system and EIA processes
  • You are confident delivering LVIA in line with current guidance and best practice
  • You are a clear and persuasive writer with strong analytical and communication skills
