Applications are invited for the post of Senior Upper Limb Fellow at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Elective operating takes place at the purpose‑built Manchester Orthopaedic Centre at Trafford Hospital. The post is available for a period of 12 months.

The post‑holders will join a dynamic and innovative upper‑limb team with active research and clinical interests. The post will involve wide exposure in arthroscopic and open shoulder and elbow surgery, including arthroplasty and trauma.

• Full GMC registration.
• Completed the FRCS (Tr&Orth) or equivalent.
• Ideally CCT or CESR in trauma and orthopaedics.
• Subspecialty interest and experience in shoulder & elbow surgery.
• On‑call commitment.

• Perform elective and traumatic shoulder and elbow surgery.
• Participate in research and publication opportunities, including active involvement in the trials running within the upper limb department.
• Dedicated time allocated to departmental research, including the current RCT investigating rehabilitation following shoulder surgery.
• Accountable to the Lead Clinician.
