Infectious Diseases​/Medical Microbiology Locum Consultant

On behalf of a hospital near Manchester, I’m seeking an experienced Infectious Diseases Locum Consultant available for an initial 3-month period with potential extension.

• This is a clinically focused role with significant ward round responsibilities, especially in Critical Care areas. The locum will work alongside consultant colleagues to deliver a comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective clinical microbiology, virology, and infection prevention and control service to UHP and other service users.
• On-call duties are negotiable and to be confirmed
• Great location with local accommodation options if needed
• Accessible by public transport and car
• Less than 1 hour from an international airport

• GMC registration; entry on the specialist register is advantageous but not mandatory
• Minimum of 1 year NHS experience at Consultant level, capable of working independently
• Must be onsite
