Applications are invited for LAS Registrar (senior clinical fellow) posts at the Manchester Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns.
The Manchester Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns is a tertiary referral service, caring for a supra‑regional population of 2.8 million people. The Centre is well regarded for its strengths in clinical care, training and academia. It is associated with the Blond McIndoe plastic surgery research laboratory at the University of Manchester and has close links to the University’s medical school.
Candidates must have full registration with the General Medical Council.

PersonSpecification Qualifications & Training
- Medical Degree
- To have achieved minimum competencies expected of ST3 or equivalent in desired specialty
- MRCS or equivalent
- Plastic surgery experience
- Experience of audit
- Distinctions or prizes during undergraduate training
- Research & publications
- Ability to assess and interpret complicated and conflicting information and use judgement where appropriate
- Good organisational and time‑management skills
- Ability to demonstrate the organisational values and beliefs
- Able to work and act independently
- Active registration and licence to practice with the GMC at the time of appointment
