Consultant Haematologist – Clinical Haematology Department at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The role joins a cohesive team at Manchester Foundation Trust and includes on‑call provision for haemato‑oncology (1:8).
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Work within the haemato‑oncology, stem cell transplant, CAR‑T and gene therapy service.
- Participate in the on‑call rota for haemato‑oncology.
- Undertake laboratory duties in line with clinical interests.
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, both inside and outside the Trust.
- Actively participate in the clinical trials programme in transplantation, cellular and gene therapies.
- Provide cross‑cover for annual/study leave and short‑term sickness for other consultants in the department on a rotational basis.
- Eligible for GMC registration. MFT does not support GMC Sponsorship for candidates with permanent vacancies.
