Location - Manchester (M11)

Pay - £95 - £105 per day, depending on experience

Start Date - 05/01/2026

Are you an experienced sports coach looking for a new role? We are currently seeking sports coaches to join a primary PRU in the Longsight area, supporting KS2 with SEMH needs. This is an excellent opportunity to use sports as a way to engage pupils into their studies.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, using passion for sports as a way to re-engage.
Co-ordinating fun and engaging activities for pupils
Collaborating with teachers and parents to monitor progress

Experience, Training &

Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the llast year (desired but training can be provided)
Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired
A passion for sports and delivering sports sessions
A calm and resilient nature
Excellent behaviour management strategies

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references Other
