Level Teaching Assistant

Overview

HLTA Required. Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a HLTA to work in a school in Wigan. This role is for 5 days per week, to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified HLTA with experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and 2. You should be confident delivering across all curriculums and leading small group intervention sessions.

• Deliver high-quality teaching assistance across EYFS to KS2.
• Lead small group intervention sessions to support pupil progress.
• Support teachers with curriculum delivery and assessment frameworks.
• Uphold safeguarding and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or
  3).
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years.
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Experience from EYFS through to KS2.
• Two references working with children.
• Hold a current DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
