About Us

LSC are a team of subject specialists who support primary schools across the UK with PPA cover. Our team of educators are dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment for our students.

Role Overview

As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective physical education lessons to primary school students. You will create a positive learning atmosphere, encourage student participation, and help students develop their physical skills and overall fitness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students.

  • Teaching: Deliver dynamic and interactive PE lessons that inspire and motivate students.

  • Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school's overall success.

  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Dance or Gymnastics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (highly desirable).
Experience
  • Previous experience teaching Dance in UK primary schools.
  • Proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Skills and Attributes
  • Strong knowledge of physical education and fitness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
