Level Teaching Assistant

Position: HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT
Aspire People are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in the M9 area to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The school is looking for someone confident in leading learning, covering classes, and supporting teaching and learning across the school.

The Role

Delivering pre-planned lessons in the teacher's absence

Supporting learning across KS1 and KS2

Leading small group interventions

Supporting assessment and pupil progress

Working closely with class teachers and senior leaders

Contributing to whole-school development

Requirements

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience

Recent experience in a UK primary school (within 2 years)

Strong behaviour management skills

Confident working independently
