Teaching Assistants – Primary & Secondary Schools (UK Experience Required) - Manchester

Teacher Active are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants with experience supporting pupils in UK primary or secondary schools. Whether you’re looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or longer-term roles, we’d love to hear from you.

The role may include:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

Providing targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs

Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

Supporting behaviour, routines, and safeguarding expectations

We’re looking for candidates who:

Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school (primary or secondary)- essential

Are confident supporting learning and behaviour in the classroom

Are reliable, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running

Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people

A Level 2 or 3 Support Work in Schools/ Teaching Assistant/ Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is desirable, but not essential.
